To random people, responsible gun owners are far greater a threat than armed gangsters. You never know when a gun snackbarist could take you out and as their numbers around the world grow, so does the danger of getting killed by one. 7 year old Stephanie Nicole Ella from the Philippines could tell you all about it but won’t get a chance cause the bullet from a snackbarist killed her while she was watching the New Year’s Eve fireworks with her family in Quezon City, the Philippines.
Stephanie Nicole Ella was hit in the head by a stray bullet. She was taken to the East Avenue Medical Center but was pronounce dead on January 1, 2013 with the bullet still embedded in the left side of her face.
That’s a thing with responsible gun owners – they have a gun, might as well use it. Even if by just adding to the noise on the New Year’s Eve.
This wasn’t the only New Year’s Eve gunshot death in the Philippines. A boy from Mandaluyong city was accidentally shot in the back with a shotgun by an intoxicated man and also died.
7 year old Stephanie Nicole Ella was a decorated Grade One student at the Tala Elementary School in Caloocan City, north of Manila.
Philippine Police forensic experts said the bullet that killed Stephanie Nicole Ella was fired from a .45 caliber pistol. Based on the physical evidence that the police gathered, the gunman was likely near the child when the shot was fired. The investigation is ongoing, the case is rather big in the Philippines.
